Gail Cavanaugh

SANY0117.JPG
creative Fine Artist and  photographer

Gail Cavanaugh has been drawing and painting since she was a child.  She has been painting in watercolors recently and does charcoal drawings, pastel drawings and portraits, pen and ink drawings, oil paintings and drawings with colored pencils.

She has always had a love of art throughout life, but did not take her talent seriously until she was a senior in college when she discovered her talent.  She then began taking drawing classes at a local museum and then visited museums every weekend.  She had visited museums in the past, but she was visiting more frequently, now.  She read lots of books, and even purchased the art books in the Time Life Series and spent the weekend reading each one when they arrived.

She has spent the last 22 years painting watercolors and perfecting the talent.  After she had given a watercolor painting to someone as a gift, the person remarked that she had left the pencil marks in.  Gail vowed from that day forward that she would never leave another pencil mark in her paintings.  She does not use them!

Gail has her art on display and for sale at ArtPal, Pixels, and Fine Art America.  Gail is also a contributing photographer for Dreamstime, Shutterstock, Snagwire, and Foap.  She specializes in stock photos.  Her photos are on display at ArtPal as well.
